Our Fees

Aetna Insurance

At Northern Colorado Assessment Center, we do our utmost to provide quality psychological testing and assessment that is affordable for our patients. Our typical fees as well as our insurance and financing policies can be found on this page, but if you have questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team. We’ll be happy to answer your questions or help you better understand the potential costs of your treatments. We accept payment for the cost of treatment at the time of your appointment via cash or credit. We may also be able to schedule installment plans using a credit card on file. If you have questions about your payment or financial options, please call our team. We’re always here to help.

Typical Pricing

Every patient’s situation is unique. In fact, no two patients will receive the same testing battery. All of our services are customized to meet your needs. The cost of the complete assessment process will typically range from $2000 to 2800. If you have questions about pricing and fees, please don’t hesitate to ask one of our knowledgeable team members.

Consultation Services

Our consulting services are billed on an hourly basis since we don’t often know in advance how much time will be invested. These services are typically billed at $200 an hour, and we can discuss possible billing when you contact us to inquire about consultation services.

Immigration Evaluations

In most cases, immigration evaluations will consist of two 1.5 to 2-hour office visits and a thorough 10 to 15 page report. These services will typically cost $1,000. For patients who need an interpreter, the costs associated with these services will be covered by the patient. If we need to provide court services, consultation fees apply. Expedited reports (within a week of the last office visit) are available at an extra cost.

Court/Legal Fees

Legal consultation, report writing, correspondence, and telephone contact for legal action are billed at $350 per hour for all clinicians. Payment in full is requested prior to releasing the prepared letters and reports in legal matters.

If called to testify in court, the fee for this service is $350 per hour with a 4-hour minimum ($1,400 retainer due at time of subpoena) within a 40-mile radius and an 8-hour minimum for travel beyond a 40-mile radius with travel time billed at the same rate. Preparation will also be billed at this rate. Mileage charges will be added at the standard IRS rate. Overnight lodging, if necessary, will be billed as well. All time for court preparation, including conversations with attorneys, research, and report preparation is billed at the same $350 per hour rate.

Deposit & No Show Fees

A deposit of $200 is required to secure an appointment and will be collected when paperwork is started. If your portion of the cost is less, the deposit will be refunded to you once insurance claims are fully processed.

We stay busy at Northern Colorado Assessment Center, so it’s important to our team and patients that you let us know as soon as possible when you won’t be able to make an appointment. We ask that patients give us at least 24 hours notice prior to your appointment time. This allows us to offer your scheduled treatment time to patients who may be waiting for an appointment. If you do fail to arrive for your scheduled appointment or cancel with 24 hours before your treatment time, we will keep your deposit.

Insurance

We currently accept Anthem BCBS and Aetna, and are in the process of getting more in network insurance. We will update our website as we add providers.
