Dr. Thomas completed her doctoral degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 2025 with an emphasis in school psychology. She completed her internship at the Children’s Center at LSU Health in Shreveport, LA, where she conducted neurodevelopmental evaluations with children with a focus on autism and ADHD diagnoses. Dr. Thomas also holds a master’s degree in clinical mental health and substance abuse counseling, and is a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA). Her previous experience has included work in public and private schools, community mental health settings, and private clinics. Dr. Thomas has spent considerable time working with neurodivergent students, as well as those with mental health concerns and trauma backgrounds. She strives to incorporate her clinical counseling skills with assessments in order to provide a holistic analysis, and identify the core of the issue. Dr. Thomas believes in incorporating all provided information to work toward recommendations and solutions that work for the individual in their life.

When not working, Dr. Thomas can probably be found walking, running, (or arguing) with her huskies, and spending time with her partner or grown children. She enjoys reading, yoga, swimming, and spending time relaxing, eating good food, and watching movies.
