Types of Assessment Offered
Autism Testing for Children
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is the name given to describe a complex disorder of differences in neurodevelopment. ASD affects early brain development, and most patients begin to show signs of ASD before the age of three.
Autism Testing for Adults
Regardless of name, ASD refers to the myriad of symptoms that result from a variety of neurodevelopmental differences. These differences start in early childhood, with many symptoms manifesting before the age of three, but ASD can be diagnosed at any stage of life. Sometimes the differences are subtle and not very impairing until much later in life, leading to a diagnosis as differences become more obvious in late adolescence or adulthood.
ADHD Testing for Children
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) refers to difficulty controlling a group of neurological functions referred to collectively as the executive functions.
ADHD Testing for Adults
Adults may experience many of the same symptoms of ADHD that children do, such as interference in focus, hyperactivity, and other executive function disruptions.
Neuropsychological Testing
Neuropsychological evaluation will include a personalized testing plan to assess a variety of cognitive functions. These test batteries are customized to meet unique needs and address specific referral questions.
Spinal Cord Stimulator Pre-Surgical Psychological Evaluations
Patients who struggle with chronic pain may choose to undergo spinal cord stimulation surgery. During this procedure, a small spinal cord stimulator (SCS) device is implanted below the skin and attached to your nerve system.
